Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Open luggage compartment door.

NOTE: Individual lock cylinders are serviced by discarding the inoperative lock cylinder and building a new lock cylinder using the appropriate lock service package. The lock service package includes a detailed instruction sheet to build the new lock cylinder to the current keycode of the vehicle.

2. Unsnap and remove luggage compartment door inside cover from luggage compartment door.
3. Disconnect anti-tamper switch from luggage compartment lock cylinder.
4. Remove two retaining nuts, and remove luggage compartment lock cylinder from luggage compartment door.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
