Installation (Part 1 of 2)

Special Tools:

1. Install the special tool.





2. Install the engine lifting equipment.
3. Remove the engine from the stand.





4. Install the flywheel
- Install the bolts.

5. Install the engine on the subframe assembly.





6. Install the bolts.





7. Install the RH engine mount nut.





8. Install the LH engine mount bolts.





9. Install the six bellhousing bolts.
10. Remove the special tools.





11. Install the transmission oil level indicator and tube.
- Install the bolt.





12. Install the hose retainer.





13. Connect the power steering pressure line.





14. Position the harness connector.





15. Connect the electrical connectors.





16. Install the wiring harness pin-type retainer.





17. Connect the transaxle electrical connectors.





18. Position the wiring harness pin-type retainer.





19. Position the electrical connector.





20. Install the four torque converter nuts.





21. Install the inspection cover.
- Install the bolt.

22. Install the starter.





23. Using the special tool, raise the engine, transmission and subframe assembly in the vehicle.





24. Install the four subframe bolts.





25. Install the RH and LH strut bolts.





26. Connect the RH and LH front stabilizer links.
- Install the two nuts.





27. Connect the ABS electrical connector.





28. Install the ABS sensor wiring harness retainer





29. Install the brake calipers.
- Install the bolts.

30. Install the wheels.





31. Connect the lower radiator hose.
- Connect the hose.
- Position the clamp.

32. Install the dual converter Y-pipe assembly.





33. Connect the steering column.
- Slide the joint downward. Install the bolt.





34. Position the dust boot.





35. Connect the transmission oil cooler tubes.
- Connect the tubes.
- Install the clips.
