Hood Latch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.







2. Position the air cleaner assembly aside.
1. Remove the hose clamp.
2. Remove the screws.
3. Position the air cleaner assembly aside.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.







3. Remove the pin-type retainers and remove the radiator grille sight shield.







4. Remove the hood latch.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the retaining screw and disconnect the cable.
3. Remove the hood latch.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Lower the hood to check hood latch alignment.
