Auxiliary Climate Control


REMOVAL

NOTE: If a heater core leak is suspected, the heater core must be leak tested before it is removed from the vehicle.

1. If equipped, remove the third, fourth, and fifth bench seats as necessary, please refer to Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/ Procedures
2. If equipped, remove the trim panels, please refer to Body and Frame/Interior Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/ Procedures
^ Remove the left center bolster trim panel, please refer to Body and Frame/Interior Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/ Procedures
^ Remove the quarter trim rear upper panel, please refer to Body and Frame/Interior Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/ Procedures
^ Remove the lower rear body side trim panel, please refer to Body and Frame/Interior Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/ Procedures






3. Remove the heater core cover.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the heater core cover.






4. Clamp off the heater water hoses.






5. Disconnect the heater water hoses, please refer to Heating and Air Condition/Heater Hose/Service and Repair/ Service and Repair






6. Remove the heater core.
1 Remove the heater core case seal.
2 Remove the heater core.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Lubricate the coolant hoses with MERPOL(R) or plain water, if needed.
