Intake Air Heater: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Open the hood.
3. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
4. Remove the air cleaner, inlet duct and resonator. For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.







5. Remove the intake air heater element.
1 Remove the nut and washer.
2 Label and disconnect the electrical lead.
3 Remove the insulator.
4 Label and disconnect the electrical lead.
5 Remove the intake air heater element and copper washer.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
