Removal





1. Remove the fluid cooler tubes.
- Remove the fluid cooler tubes from the transmission.
- Remove the auxiliary fluid cooler tube from the transmission fluid cooler and the radiator.
- Remove the auxiliary fluid cooler tube from the transmission fluid cooler and the radiator.

Installation





1. Install the fluid cooler tubes.
- Install the fluid cooler tubes from the radiator to the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler.
- Install the fluid cooler tube from the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler to the radiator.
- Install the fluid cooler tube from the radiator to the transmission.

2. Fill the transmission with MERCON V Multi-Purpose Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-5-QM or equivalent meeting Ford MERCON(R)V specification.
