Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the Coil On Plug (COP) electrical connectors.







2. Remove the bolts.







3. Remove the coil on plugs.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Apply Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound D7AZ-19A331-A meeting Ford specification ESE-M1C171-A or equivalent to the inside of the coil boots.
