Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Remove the thermostat and housing. For additional information, refer to Cooling System.
2.
Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
3.
Remove the Engine Coolant Temperature
(ECT) sensor.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the sensor.
INSTALLATION 1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
