End Play Check

Special Tools:

1. Install End-Play Checking Tool into the torque converter.
1. Insert End-Play Checking Tool into the torque converter until it bottoms.
2. Tighten the inner post until the tool is securely locked.





2. Attach Dial Indicator with Bracketry to End Play Checking Tool. Position the dial indicator bottom on the converter impeller housing and zero the dial.

3. Lift up on the end play checking tool and note the dial indicator reading. If the reading exceeds end play limits, replace the torque converter.
