Fluid Line/Hose: Service and Repair

Removal

1. WARNING: Whenever releasing the transaxle cooling system fluid, prevent of fluid scalding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

CAUTION: Whenever the fluid cooler tubes are disconnected the ports should be plugged to prevent dirt from entering.

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. NOTE:
- Mark the position of the feed and return hose.
- Collect escaping fluid in a drain pan.





Disconnect the feed and return hose from the transmission fluid cooler.





3. Remove the feed and return hose from the automatic transaxle.

Installation

1. NOTE: Position marks.





Connect the feed and return hose.





2. Install the feed and return hose to the automatic transaxle.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Check the automatic transmission fluid level and fill if necessary.
