Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
3. Disconnect the connector from the ignition coil.
NOTE: One ignition coil is shown, and the others are similar.
4. Remove the bolt and the ignition coil.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Verify the ignition coil spring is correctly located inside the ignition coil boot and there is no damage to the tip of the boot.
