Manual Transmission/Transaxle: Application and ID

The transmission identification tag is located under the lower left bolt that retains the extension housing to the case.
The five speed overdrive (T45) transmission is the only manual transmission available for the Mustang 4.6L (2V) and the Mustang Cobra 4.6L (4V).
