Intake Air Systems

The air intake system consists of the:
^ Air Cleaner (ACL).
^ Air Cleaner (ACL) element.
^ Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
^ Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
^ air cleaner outlet tube.
^ air cleaner and duct assembly.

The air intake system:
^ cleans intake air with an air cleaner element.
^ measures air flow with a mass air flow sensor. For additional information, refer to Computers and Control Systems.
^ measures air temperature with an intake air temperature sensor.
