Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.







3. Remove the bolts and the CKP sensor.


INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Push sensor against pulley wheel to make sure both wear pads are in contact with pulley wheel.
