Alternator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery Service and Repair.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
3. Remove the drive belt. For additional information, refer to Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories.







4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.







5. Remove the wiring harness to generator pushpin.







6. Remove the generator (GEN).
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the generator.

INSTALLATION

















1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
