Fuel Injector: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the upper intake manifold. For additional information, refer to Engine.
2. Disconnect the fuel lines.







3. Disconnect the Injector Pressure Sensor (IPS).
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.
^ Disconnect the vacuum tube.







4. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the fuel injectors.







5. Remove the fuel injection supply manifold.
^ Remove the four bolts.

NOTE: Remove the fuel injection supply manifold and the fuel injectors as an assembly.







6. Remove the six fuel injectors.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
