System Description

Power Exterior Rear View Mirror
The exterior outside rear view mirrors are controlled by the exterior rear view mirror control switch. The exterior rear view mirror control switch:
^ is located on the driver front door trim panel.
^ operates both the left and right exterior rear view mirrors.
^ selects the left or right exterior rear view mirror for adjustment.
^ adjusts the exterior rear view mirrors by moving the knob in the direction of the arrow on the exterior rear view mirror control.

Heated Exterior Rear View Mirror
The heated exterior rear view mirrors:
^ operate any time the heated back window system is turned on.
^ heating function is an integral part of the exterior rear view mirror glass.
^ utilize a separate fuse from the heated back window system.

Electrochramatic Interior Rear View Mirror
The optional electrochromatic interior rear view mirror:
^ is equipped with an automatic dimming feature that controls the interior rear view mirror reflecting surface to reduce glare caused by head lamps reflecting in the mirror.
^ has two integral sensors to control dimming functions.
^ defaults to normal setting when the transmission is shifted to REVERSE to allow a bright view for backing up.
^ can be switched off by pressing the MODE switch to the OFF position.
