Auxiliary Climate Control

REMOVAL
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the trim panels, please refer to Body and Frame/Interior Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/ Procedures






3. Disconnect the rear heater hoses, Heating and Air Conditioning/Heater Hose/Service and Repair/ Service and Repair






4. Remove the rear blend door motor.
1 Disconnect the connector.
2 Remove the screws.






5. Remove the rear heater core cover.
^ Remove the bolts.






6. Remove the core from the housing.

CAUTION: Do not spill any of the remaining coolant inside the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Lubricate the coolant hoses with MERPOL(R) meeting Ford specification ESE-M99B144-B or plain water only, if needed.
