Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor

Removal
1. If equipped, turn the air suspension switch off.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.





4. Remove the heat shield.





5. Disconnect the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor connector.





6. Remove the OSS Sensor cover.
1 Remove the connector.
2 Remove the bolt.
3 Remove the cover.





7. Remove the OSS sensor.

Installation





1. Note: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy.

Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
