Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the upper washer reservoir bolts.
2. Remove the RH front wheel and tire.
3. Remove the RH front splash shield.







4. Position the RH cornering lamp aside.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Position the RH cornering lamp aside.







5. Position the washer reservoir aside.
1 Remove the lower bolt.
2 Disconnect the level sensor electrical connector.
3 Position the washer reservoir aside.







6. Remove the washer reservoir.
1 Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2 Disconnect washer hoses from washer pumps.
3 Remove the washer reservoir.

WARNING: WINDSHIELD WASHER SOLUTION CONTAINS METHANOL, WHICH IS POISONOUS. OBSERVE ALL CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS INDICATED ON LABEL OF WASHER SOLUTION CONTAINER.

NOTE: To prevent spilling washer fluid, drain the reservoir before removal.







7. Remove the washer pumps.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
