Turbocharger

REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the air cleaner, inlet duct and resonator.
3. Remove the three nuts and the turbocharger heat shield.







4. Remove the exhaust outlet pipe from the turbocharger.
1 Loosen the Marmon clamp.
2 Pull the exhaust outlet pipe away from the turbocharger.







5. Loosen the Marmon clamp.

NOTE: The Marmon clamp cannot be removed with the turbocharger in place.







6. Loosen the clamps and remove the inlet hose.







7. Position the compressor manifold forward.
1 Loosen the clamps.
2 Position the compressor manifold forward.







8. Disconnect the back-pressure valve.







9. Remove the turbocharger.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the turbocharger.







10. Remove and discard the O-rings.

INSTALLATION







1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
^ Install new O-rings.
