Vehicle Damage Warnings

CAUTION:
^ A protective cap or boot is provided over the battery input terminal on all vehicle lines and a new protective cap must be installed after repairing. Be sure to disconnect the battery ground cable before repairing the starter motor.
^ When disconnecting the plastic hard shell connector at the starter solenoid S-terminal, grasp the plastic connector, depress the plastic tab, and pull off the lead assembly. Do not pull on the lead wire or damage may result.
^ Do not leave the positive lead of the battery connected to the starter motor S-terminal for more than 10 seconds.
