Trunk / Liftgate Handle: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.







2. Remove the liftgate latch remote control bolts and position aside.







4. Remove the liftgate handle.
1 Remove the two nuts.
2 Remove the reinforcement plate.
3 Remove the liftgate handle.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
^ Make sure the handle shaft and the driver on the liftgate latch controller are properly aligned.
