Hood Latch Release: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the hood latch.







2. Remove the hood latch release handle screws.







3. Release the hood latch release cable.
1 Disconnect the cable conduit.
2 Release the cable.







4. Remove the two hood latch release handle cable locators.
5. Pull the hood latch release handle cable towards the engine compartment and remove the cable.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
