Dual Converter Y-Pipe

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the dual three-way catalytic converter.





2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensors.





3. Remove the LH nuts.





4. Remove the RH nuts and remove the dual converter Y-pipe.





5. Remove the converter inlet gasket and, necessary, the heated oxygen sensors.
^ Discard the gasket.

6. CAUTION: Make sure that the dual converter Y-pipe to exhaust manifold nuts are tightened after the three-way catalytic converter is installed.

NOTE: Make sure to apply anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the sensors before installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
