Wiper Motor: Service Precautions

CAUTION:
^ The internal permanent magnets used in the windshield wiper motor are made of a glass-like material. To avoid damaging the magnets, do not strike the motor with a hammer or any other object.
^ Read the installation label on the rear wiper motor before installing in vehicle to prevent component damage. Do not activate rear wiper motor until windshield wiper arm and blade are correctly installed.
