Power Door Lock Actuator: Service and Repair

Heavy Duty Riveter:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Position the watershield aside.







3. Remove the door glass run channel.
1 Remove the bolt.
2 Remove the door glass run channel.
- Release the wiring harness locator.







4. Disconnect the door lock actuator electrical connector.







5. Remove the front door lock actuator rivet.







6. Release the wiring harness locator.
7. Remove the front door lock actuator.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Using the special tool, install the rivet.
