Axle and Differential Drain and Refill

Special Tools:

Special Tool(s)

1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Remove the fill plug.





3. Using the special tool, remove the axle lubricant.
4. If necessary, a cleaning solvent can be injected to remove any contaminants.





5. Using the special tool, remove the cleaning solvent.
6. Refill the axle with 1.54 Liters (2.25 pints) of axle lubricant.





7. Install the fill plug.
8. Lower the vehicle.
