Alternator: Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2.
Remove the drive belt.
3.
Disconnect the generator electrical connectors.

Disconnect the generator stator and
voltage regulator connectors.

Remove the generator B+ cable nut.
3
Disconnect the generator B+ cable.
4.
Remove the generator.

Remove the generator mounting bolts.
INSTALLATION 1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
