RIDE HEIGHT

Suspension Design Height Setting

1. NOTE: The final tightening of the suspension must be carried out at the design height setting.

Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the spring.

3. Fabricate a 20mm wide by 113mm long spacer.





4. Using a suitable transmission jack, raise the lower arm to the suspension design height setting (wheel removed for clarity).
1. Position the spacer.
2. Raise the rear lower arm.

5. NOTE: The spacer must be positioned exactly as illustrated.





Install the spacer.
1. Remove the bump stop.
2. Install the spacer between the rear lower arm and the crossmember making sure the spacer is in a vertical plane.

6. Fabricate a 20mm wide by 157mm long spacer.





7. Using a suitable transmission jack, raise the lower arm to the suspension design height setting (wheel removed for clarity).
1. Position the spacer.
2. Raise the rear lower arm.

8. NOTE: The spacer must be positioned exactly as illustrated.





Install the spacer.
- Install the spacer between the rear lower arm and the customer making sure the spacer is in a vertical plane.
