Gearshift Cable Adjustment-Vehicles with MTX75 Manual Transaxle





Special Tools





1. Move the gearshift mechanism into neutral.
^ Make sure the gearshift and selector levers are in vertical position on the transmission (shift and selector cables not shown).
2. Raise the vehicle.





3. Press in as indicated to loosen the adjustment mechanism on the shift and selector cables.
4. Lower the vehicle.





5. Unclip the gearshift lever cover and insert the special tool.
6. Raise the vehicle.





7. Lock the adjustment mechanism on the shift and selector cables.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Remove the special tool and clip in the gearshift lever cover.
