EGR Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVALNOTE: The 4.6L, 4V is shown. The 3.8L and the 4.61, 2V are similar.
1.
Disconnect the vacuum hose.
2.
Disconnect the
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube from the
EGR valve.
3.
Remove two bolts, the
EGR valve and gasket.
INSTALLATION 1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: ^
Install a new gasket.
