Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold.

3. Disconnect the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.

4. Remove the bolt and the CMP sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring with clean engine oil.
