Alternator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt from the generator.
3. Position the degas bottle aside.







4. Remove the generator electrical connectors.
1 Remove B+ nut.
2 Remove the stator and voltage regulator connectors.







5. Remove the generator brace.
^ Remove the bolt and nut.







6. Remove the generator mounting bolt and remove the generator.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
