Battery Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery cables.







2. Remove the nut and disconnect the battery positive cable from the power distribution box.







3. Remove the body ground cable bolt.
4. Raise and support the vehicle.







5. Remove the battery cable harness retaining bracket nut. Remove the bracket and the engine ground cable from the stud.







6. Remove the battery cable harness from the harness bracket.







7. Remove the starter motor solenoid terminal cover.







8. Remove the starter motor positive cable nut and disconnect the B+ cable. Remove the battery cable harness assembly from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
