Condenser Core: Main Climate Control

REMOVAL

NOTE: If an A/C condenser core leak is suspected, the A/C condenser core must be leak-tested before it is removed from the vehicle.

1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Recover the refrigerant.







3. Remove the nut and disconnect the fitting.







4. Remove the nut and disconnect the fitting.







5. Support the radiator.
6. Raise the vehicle.







7. Remove the screws.







8. Unclip the transmission lines.







9. Disconnect the auxiliary cooler lines.







10. Remove the bolts.







11. Remove the lower radiator support.







12. Remove the bolts.







13. Remove the bracket.







14. Remove the condenser.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Fill the new A/C condenser core with the correct amount of PAG Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) or equivalent. See: Refrigerant Oil Addition.
^ Lubricate the O-ring seals with PAG Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) or equivalent.
