EGR Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the turbocharger compressor manifold.







2. Remove the exhaust back pressure solenoid.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the bolt and the retaining bracket.
3 Remove the exhaust back pressure solenoid.

NOTE: The turbocharger is removed for clarity only.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
^ Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil prior to installing the exhaust back pressure solenoid.
