Module Controlled Functions

NOTE: Upon installation of a new Vehicle Security Module (VSM), the module must be reconfigured.

The vehicle security module (VSM) is the only multifunction module on this vehicle.

The VSM constantly monitors its subsystems for concerns. If a concern is found in one of the subsystems, the VSM will record the concern in the form of a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).

The VSM controls the following systems:
^ remote keyless entry (including panic feature)
^ computer-operated locks
^ autolamp
^ keypad keyless entry
