Exhaust Manifold RH

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the front fender splash shield.





2. Remove the heater control valve bracket bolt.
3. Lower the vehicle.





4. Position the heater control valve assembly aside.
5. Raise and support the vehicle.





6. Remove the bolts and the exhaust manifold heat shield.





7. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation tube from the exhaust manifold.





8. Remove the four nuts, and detach the dual converter Y-pipe from both exhaust manifolds.





9. Remove the eight nuts and the exhaust manifold.





10. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold gasket.
11. Clean and inspect the exhaust manifold.





12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts in the sequence shown.
