Driver Side Register

REMOVAL

All vehicles







1. Remove the instrument panel center finish panel.
1 Carefully pry and disengage the retaining clips.
2 Working around the perimeter of the finish panel, disengage the remaining retaining clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

CAUTION: Use a shop cloth or equivalent to prevent damage to the instrument panel when prying the instrument panel center finish panel.







2. Remove the lower steering column opening finish panel.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Disengage the retaining clips and remove the lower steering column opening finish panel.

3. Adjust the steering column to its lowest position.

Vehicles with automatic transmission
4. Place the gearshift selector in 1.

All vehicles







5. Remove the screws.







6. Remove the screw.







7. Partially remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Disengage the retaining clips and partially remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

Vehicles with DATC







8. Using a suitable tool, access and detach the in-car temperature sensor from the instrument cluster finish panel.

All vehicles







9. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.







10. Remove the driver side register.
- Disengage the retaining tabs.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
