EGR Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the three bolts and the throttle body splash shield.







2. Disconnect the EGR valve vacuum hose.







3. Remove the brake booster tube bracket nut and disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose.







4. Disconnect the EGR valve tube upper fitting.







5. Remove the bolts and the EGR valve. Discard the gasket.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Clean the gasket surfaces and install a new EGR gasket.
