Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service Precautions

CAUTION:
^ The fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector must be disconnected before lowering the fuel tank. Failure to do so can cause damage to the fuel tank pressure sensor or the fuel tank.
^ Directly center the fuel tank pressure sensor above the grommet and apply downward pressure before turning it clockwise. Failure to do so can cause damage to the fuel tank pressure sensor, the grommet or the fuel tank.
