Instrument Panel Illumination

The instrument cluster and panel illumination system illuminates the following components:
^ instrument cluster
^ audio unit
^ A/C-heater control
^ fog lamp switch
^ transmission range indicator
^ traction control switch
^ rear window defrost control switch

The Instrument Cluster Module (ICM) is a Hybrid Electronic Cluster (HEC). The instrument cluster uses both hardwired and the Standard Corporate Protocol (SCP) communication network to transmit and receive information.
