a Tighten in two stages:
Stage 1: 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Stage 2: 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
b Advance one-half turn after gasket contacts the sealing surface.
c Tighten the bolts in sequence in three stages:
Stage 1: 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.)
Stage 2: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
Stage 3: Rotate an additional 90 degrees.
d Tighten the bolts in sequence in two stages:
Stage 1: 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Stage 2: 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
e Tighten in two stages:
Stage 1: 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Stage 2: 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.)
f Tighten in three stages:
Stage 1: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2: 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
Stage 3: 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
Caution: Do not loosen all the bolts at the same time, only work on one bolt at a time. In sequence, loosen the bolts two or three revolutions and tighten the bolts one at a time in the following manner. Long bolts: 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.). Tighten an additional 180 degrees. Go to the next bolt in sequence. Short bolts: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Tighten an additional 180 degrees. Go to the next bolt in sequence.
g Tighten in two stages:
Stage 1: 55 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2: Rotate an additional 90 degrees
h Tighten in three stages:
Stage 1: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Stage 2: 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
Stage 3: Rotate an additional 105 degrees.
