EGR Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Disconnect the vacuum hose.
2.
Disconnect the
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube from the
EGR valve.
3.
Remove the
EGR valve.

Remove the bolts.
2
Remove the
EGR valve.
3
Remove and discard the gasket and clean the sealing surfaces.
INSTALLATION 1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install a new gasket.
