Liftgate Latch - Remote Control

LIFTGATE LATCH REMOTE CONTROL

REMOVAL
1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.







2. Disconnect the lock cylinder actuator rod.







3. Disconnect the LH and RH liftgate latch cables.
1 Disconnect the cable conduit.
2 Disconnect the cable.







4. Disconnect the exterior liftgate handle actuating rod.
1 Open the locking clip.
2 Disconnect the actuating rod.







5. Disconnect the liftgate latch actuator electrical connector.







6. Remove the three liftgate latch remote control nuts.







7. Remove the liftgate latch remote control.
- Transfer parts as necessary.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
