MODULE REPROGRAMMINGNOTE:
Module reprogramming consists of reprogramming the powertrain control module (PCM) transmission control module (TCM) and the fuel injector control module (FICM).
1. Connect a battery charger to the main battery (passenger side of engine compartment) and charge the battery while performing this reprogramming procedure.
2. Using WDS (updated to B24.6 or later), reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM), transmission control module (TCM) and the fuel injector control module (FICM).
3. Once reprogramming is complete, clear all DTCs.
4. Disconnect the battery charger.
5. Obtain and prepare an Authorized Modification Label. Write the modification completed, your P&A code, date of repair and the program type and number as shown in Figure 1.
6. Apply the label to a clean area adjacent to the Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) label, then cover it with a clear plastic decal shield.
