Safety Belt Bolt Bit:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL







1. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
1 Position the shoulder safety belt guide cover up.
2 Remove the shoulder safety belt guide nut.
3 Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

NOTE: Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide and cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide or cover is damaged or cover does not remain closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide.

2. Remove the front door scuff plate, the rear door scuff plate, the rear assist handle and the center body pillar trim panel.







3. Remove the height adjuster cover.







4. Remove the shoulder safety belt height adjuster.
1 Use the Seat Belt Bolt Bit to remove the bolts.
2 Remove the shoulder safety belt height adjuster.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
^ Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
^ Make sure to tighten nuts and bolts to specification.
^ Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide and cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide or cover is damaged or cover does not remain closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide.

2. Check the restraint system for correct operation.
