Exhaust Manifold - LH
1. With the vehicle in neutral, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the LH inner fender well.
3. Remove the components in the order indicated.





4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
5. Install the LH inner fender well.

Item 1: Steering Gear Shaft Removal Note





1. CAUTION: Do not allow the intermediate shaft to rotate while it is disconnected from the gear or damage to the clockspring can occur. If there is evidence that the intermediate shaft has rotated, the clockspring must be removed and recentered.

Remove the lower steering column shaft pinch bolt. Position the lower steering column shaft aside.

Item 6: Exhaust Manifold Nuts Installation Note

LH:

1. Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts in the sequence shown.
