Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS

Heavy Duty Riveter:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front door trim panel.







2. CAUTION: Do not strike or force the front door belt line moulding during installation. The front door belt line moulding is made of aluminum and will be damaged.

NOTE: During installation, make sure that the front door belt line moulding fits flush with the edge of the sheet metal and the door panel shelf.

Remove the front door belt line moulding.
1 Remove the nut.
2 Remove the moulding.







3. Remove the interior glass weatherstrip.







4. NOTE: Lower the window glass to access the rivets.

Remove the front door window glass rivets.







5. Remove the front door window glass through the outboard side of the front door.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Use the special tool to install the rivets.
